Welcome to Garage Buddy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and Garage Buddy ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of our website and garage management software (the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access our Service.

Garage Buddy is an AI-powered garage management platform designed for automotive repair shops and mobile mechanics. Our Service enables you to:

• Create and manage job cards and repair orders
• Generate professional PDF reports for customers
• Automate customer communications
• Track vehicle service history
• Manage customer relationships
• Access AI-powered insights for your business

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Operate a legitimate automotive repair business or be an authorized representative
• Have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4.1 Account Registration

To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

6.2 Termination by You

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will lose access to the Service and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6.3 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

6.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law provisions.

The Service and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Garage Buddy and its licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Use our trademarks without prior written consent
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Create derivative works based on our Service

8.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content, data, and information you input into the Service ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant us a limited licence to use it to provide and improve our Service.

8.2 Data Processing

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have all necessary rights to provide the User Content you input.

8.3 Customer Data

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent and legal basis to process any customer data you input into the Service. You agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws regarding such data.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GARAGE BUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
• DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
• DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT AFFECT OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Garage Buddy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your User Content
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your illegal or unauthorized conduct

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any dispute arising under these Terms.

12.1 Good Faith Negotiations

Before commencing formal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good faith negotiations for at least 30 days.

12.2 Small Claims

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from bringing disputes to the County Court where the claim value falls within its jurisdiction.

12.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you agree that neither party will commence formal proceedings until the other party has been given a reasonable opportunity to participate in ADR processes.
